In 2012, the Prescott Chamber of Commerce will be presenting the 31st Annual Prescott Bluegrass Festival. It will be held on June 23-24, 2012. For the past several years, articles have appeared in publications locally, state wide and nationally regarding the popularity of the Prescott Bluegrass Festival. Two main reasons for its popularity are the great talent showcased on the stage and the fact that it is the only free Bluegrass Festival of its caliber in the Western United States. There will be lots of changes this year. Most of the past year’s volunteer committee is still in place.
Sign up now to be a “Friend of Bluegrass” and support the arts in Prescott. Each year the Festival strives to bring outstanding talent to the Courthouse Square, and we need your help to continue. For $100.00 you or your business can become a Friend of Bluegrass. Your name will be listed in the program, on the website and you will receive an attractive Friends of Bluegrass sticker acknowledging your support for this great event. But most importantly, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped maintain a long-standing and valuable tradition here in Prescott.
